Whatever your age, you can help transform the lives of orphans around the world. Here's some ideas to get started.
Tell your friends and family
- Send them the WWO brochure
- Forward our most recent Publications (Newsletters, Annual Reports, etc)
- Check out WWO in the News
Become a fan of WWO on our Facebook page and join our official Facebook Cause.
If you're a student,
- start a WWO Club at school
- do a report or research project about the condition of orphans in the world
- invite a WWO representative to speak at your school (email simone @ wwo.org)
Recognize life's milestones - celebrate your next birthday party, Bar/Bat Mitzah, wedding, graduation or other important event by asking loved ones to make a contribution to WWO. (see sample invitation)
Organize a fundraiser - sponsor an event at your house either for a set admission or request donations. We will send you printed brochures, DVDs of our work and pledge cards. You can organize a cocktail reception, a dinner, a dance, or even a movie evening or a game night.
Invite a WWO representative to speak at your church, synagogue, library, community center.
Visit the WWO Store - WWO cards and bags make great gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, teachers, and other special people and events. All proceeds go to WWO's programs.
