Family Health Center
In January, WWO and partner AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) opened the doors of the Family Health Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. WWO provides the HIV/AIDS treatment and full medical care for children from six Ethiopian orphanages, as well as for children from the surrounding area. We began by seeing 150 patients; at last count, we are treating and following up with more than 500 – and our goal is to treat 1,000 by the end of the year. Additional services at the Center include art, music, and sports leagues.
