WWO Australia was launched last month in Sydney. Among the guests, the US Consul Commercial Services Mr David Murphy who is also an adoptive parent,Messrs Alexei Kral and Christopher Patch, US Consular attaches based in Sydney. Dr. Aronson also received a portrait by Angus McDonald as a gift for the new chapter in Australia. See pictures
Deborra-Lee Furness launched the National Adoption Awareness Week in Australia by calling for Australians to do more for the world's estimated millions of orphans. Dr. Jane Aronson was also invited to speak about international adoption.
Dr. Aronson and Deborra-Lee Furness were also special guests at concert by Seal. A group of 30 adopted children wwere invited to sing along with Seal on stage at the State Theatre prior to his third Sydney performance. See pictures.
